An old spring on the garage door broke and now made the system hard to operate. Customer needed a new spring installed, preferably fast.
Arriving at the customer’s home with the new garage door spring to install, we started work immediately to try and save Mr. Mangianeli as much time as possible. After lifting the door on a ladder and releasing the broken spring (broke in half), we attached the new unit and wound it. After loading the new garage door spring with tension, we lubricated all moving parts and adjusted the door’s travel limit to ensure it wouldn’t bang on the floor or go up too low.
